The turning point
“The capstone studio was my first real engineering job. Everything since has felt familiar.” A professor’s office hours, a co-op and a group of friends from the first-year seminar made the difference, Marcus says.
Advice for new students
- Go to office hours in the first month
- Say yes to the co-op or placement, even if it scares you
- Find one club outside your major
