Program overview
What this program is about
Biology majors join a research lab as early as their first spring. Our labs study cancer cell signaling, the microbiome and coastal ecology, and undergraduates co-author papers every year.
The pre-health advising office guides students toward medical, dental and PA school; 78% of our applicants were admitted to medical school last cycle, well above the national average.
Learning by doing
Every Campora program includes hands-on work outside the classroom — a co-op, a clinical placement, a residency, a studio project or faculty research. Boston is our campus: more than 600 employers and 30 hospitals are a short ride away.
- 94%employed or in grad school within six months
- $60,000median starting salary
- 22students in an average class
What you will learn
- Explain molecular, cellular and organismal biology
- Perform core lab techniques: PCR, microscopy, cell culture
- Design experiments and analyze results statistically
- Read and critique primary scientific literature

FAQ
Questions students ask
Is there a pre-med program?
Pre-medicine is an advising track inside the Biology major (and open to any major). Advisors help with courses, the MCAT and applications.
How long does the program take?
4 years of full-time study. Students who bring AP or transfer credit can finish sooner.
When can I start?
The next start date is August 29, 2027. Apply by January 14, 2027 for priority review.
Can international students apply?
Yes. Campora is approved to enroll F-1 students; our International Student Office helps with the I-20 and arrival.
How do I pay for it?
91% of students receive grants, scholarships or employer support. File the FAFSA and use the net price calculator on the Tuition & Aid page.
